Famurs TS1200 is a high quality component, (Samsung LM301H/B diodes, Osram far red, and a MeanWell driver with 100% dimming capabilities. The TS1200 is designed for vegging in 3.5’ x 3.5’, flower in a 3’ x 3’. I’m in a 2’ x 4’. I’ve started 3-different strains from seed under this light. They all have gone outdoors and, comparing the leaf color to just outdoor grown, to the plants grown under this light was crazy! LED grown plants were so much darker, with leaves that have the texture of a rich, green leather. I was gifted 4- Supafreaks that were slow growing. One has been kept outdoors only, while three of them had access to the tent for preparation to go outdoors. The 2 that I chose to flower out in the tent, was the strongest, and the weakest. The strongest one is about 37 days into her 49 day flowering time. PPFD, throughout the vegetative growth has been 1200, respectively. Roughly 3-weeks in, she reached her full stretch potential. The tallest flowering tips were white, while much of the undergrowth was maturing with red hairs. I have no more space to extend the height of the light, so I dimmed the light down until all of the flowering sights appeared to be at the same level of light, by eye. After several days of adjusting the dimmer, I’m noticing a good response from it being under 55% full capacity, which reads out to 405 PPFD dead center. I’ve trained this plant into more of a table top than a Christmas tree and, 7-days in, all of the flowering sites appear to be packing on new white hair growth while still allowing them to mature and darken to red/orange. I’m going to assume that part of what I saw next was just a timing coincidence but, in the past week, the trichome production and smells coming from her have stepped up to another level. I’m playing with my temperature and humidity levels, while 81*F with 62% humidity is kinda the gold standard for LED driven gardening, I’m able to hover right around there. It’s just not ideal. The light is what drives all growth in any plants so, understanding the LED technology is crucial for successfully pushing this new envelope. PPFD, VPD, DLI, along with ph, ppm, and EC of your water, are the crucial pieces to understand.
Im disabled and i love to grow smoke it gives me something to do. I go cheap cause im on a fixed income so i cant afford a 300 light. I dont smoke it but i grow it and give it away to ppl who need it and i dont charge a penny for it. I like helping people who are sick and disabled. I wish i could afford a newer light.
